Meet the New Version of Me
Hey… I’m really glad you’re here.
If you’ve followed my journey for a while, you might already know me. And if you’re new, welcome to CAE’s Crystals. Either way, this feels like the right moment to reintroduce myself… not as who I was when I started this shop, but as who I’ve grown into.
Because the truth is. I’m not the same person anymore.
Where It All Started
My name is Taryn, and I started CAE’s Crystals back in 2021 during the shutdown.
Like a lot of people, I was searching for something, comfort, clarity, maybe even a sense of control in a world that felt really uncertain. That’s when I found crystals, and more importantly, I started noticing how much they were helping me slow down and reconnect with myself.
What started as a personal obsession quickly turned into something more. I didn’t just love the beauty of the stones. I felt their energy, their grounding presence, and the way they supported me through hard moments.
I knew I wanted to share that with others.
The Part I Didn’t Share Before
When I first introduced myself, I kept things light. Easy. Safe.
But there’s more to my story.
The last couple of years have taken me through some of the hardest emotional seasons of my life. I’ve been through the trenches. Navigating heartbreak, losing friendships, facing uncomfortable truths about myself, and realizing that I had built parts of my life around people and situations that weren’t healthy for me.
I was stuck in patterns of people-pleasing.
Over giving.
Ignoring my intuition.
And at times, I felt like I had dug myself into a hole I didn’t know how to get out of.
But healing has a way of finding you. Especially when you finally decide you’re ready for something different.
Choosing Growth (Even When It’s Hard)
There wasn’t one moment where everything changed.
It was a series of small choices:
- choosing to set boundaries
- choosing to walk away from what hurt
- choosing to sit with my emotions instead of avoiding them
- choosing to figure out who I am without everyone else’s expectations
And that process? It’s still ongoing. Trust me on that.. lol
But I can honestly say. I’m stronger, more grounded, and more myself than I’ve ever been.
Love, Support & Rebuilding
One of the biggest shifts in my life has been allowing myself to receive the kind of love and support I used to think wasn’t meant for me and that I didn't deserve a love like this.
Having a genuinely loving, supportive partner has changed so much for me. Not in a “they fixed everything” way but in a way that showed me what healthy, safe connection actually looks like.
That kind of love doesn’t replace your healing, but it reminds you that you’re worthy of it.
And sometimes, that’s something you have to relearn.
What CAE’s Crystals Means Now
This shop has grown with me.
It’s no longer just about selling crystals, it’s about creating a space where people feel seen, supported, and understood in their healing journeys.
Every piece I source, every order I pack, every interaction I have. I carry that intention with me.
Because I know what it feels like to be:
- overwhelmed
- heartbroken
- searching for something to hold onto
And if my shop can be even a small part of someone’s healing process that means everything to me.
A Few Things About Me (Because Some Things Haven’t Changed)
I still live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, surrounded by nature that constantly grounds me. Just know that the stars, moon and sun are clearer now more than ever before.
I still love country concerts, softball, camping, hiking, and anything outdoors. I actually found a new love of Volleyball as well.
I’m still a huge animal lover (and yes… there’s still a chance you’ll get a little pet hair “glitter” in your order).
My family still means everything to me, especially my nephews, who continue to be a big part of my “why.”

I don’t believe in coincidences.

Not just a place to buy crystals…
But a place that feels real.
A place that understands that healing isn’t perfect.
