Ammonites were squid like creatures with a similar appearance to a nautilus. Ammonites went extinct around the same time as the dinosaurs. Their stunning spiral shells have been fossilized with different minerals over time.
This particular specimen has been Opalized and has a very flashy Red Opal flash on the back side.

Incredible Sale Scores!

I can't believe the gorgeous items I was able to snag during the recent sale!! The ammonite was HUGE and the red flash was INSANE! And my moldavite gives me CHILLS!!! Totally obsessed with everything!!!
